I'm Cara and in April 2009, at the age of 26, I was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, in my left femur. At www.carayapp.com you can read my thoughts, feelings and fears through the highs and lows during the rollercoaster ride I have been on, including 13 gruelling chemotherapy cycles and major surgery on my leg. The blog has been really useful to keep people informed, as a chance for people to contact me and a really therapeutic process for me to write how I'm feeling and what I'm going through. I have recently finished treatment and continue to write on there.

Andy Greig was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in his right femur in February 2008, having his first chemotherapy treatment on his 42nd birthday! A self-confessed statistical blip on the Cancer radar, Andy used his existing blog on the musings of the everyday life of a 40-something dad to keep family, friends and casual surfers up to date with his progress. Follow his progress here, interspersed with occasional diversions into technology and other assorted geekery.

Leanne Grose My name is Leanne and at the age of 20 I lost my foot, then the rest of my leg due to a nasty bone tumour. They say that 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger' and I am a firm believer. I have recently released my new book, an autobiography called 'Just a Step' and a unique fitness DVD 'Leanne's Chair Workout' which is the first of its kind enabling everyone and anyone to exercise. Join me in my rollercoaster and jam packed life at www.leannegrose.com thank you so much and lots of love xx

Following an intensive course of chemotherapy and an above-knee amputation, she is now in remission... and expecting the baby she was told she'd never have.
