Joseph Millington and Daniel Poole cycle across the USA – May to August 2008
In May 2008 friends Joseph Millington and Daniel Poole will set off for East Coast USA from where they will cycle across a continent to raise money for BCRT After peddling over three and a half thousand miles, the pair expect to hit San Francisco on the West Coast by early August: tired, hungry, thin, but with panniers stuffed with cash for charity. In February 2007 Hannah Millington, Joseph's sister, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. After 8 months of intensive chemotherapy and limb salvage surgery she is thankfully in remission. Joseph and Daniel now hope to raise £20,000 for Bone Cancer Research Trust as they fully appreciate the vital work that it performs for young people throughout the UK.

Fancy Dress Bar Crawl – 9th August 2008
On Saturday 9th August, there is a gang of us doing a "fancy dress bar crawl" it starts in Runcorn (Cheshire) and ends in Frodsham (Cheshire) in the early hours of Sunday morning! This is to raise as much money as possible for BCRT.
My brother Paul was diagnosed with Bone Cancer (in his thighbone) last August, up until then none of us knew / had heard of bone cancer before and as you can imagine it came as a shock to us all!
But nearly a year of intense chemotherapy and surgery Paul is on the mend and
will be soon dancing away without his crutches! Paul (my brother who is 19) has decided that he wants to do all he can to raise as much money for BCRT and for Alder Hey Hospital where he has been receiving most of his treatment! So family and friends have come up with a number of different charity events! This one being the 1st one to be held!
